Hawen Cottage

Hawen Cottage is nestled in the Hawen valley above Llangrannog, on the West Wales coast. Lovingly renovated with modern touches such as underfloor heating, but using traditional methods to retain much of the original character. Step out of the door and a beautiful woodland walk leads you into Llangrannog and the 'Blue Flag' beach or in the other direction, onto the coast path. Perfect for families, couples, walkers, dog lovers, cyclists or those wishing for tranquility. The space Hawen Cottage is a lovely 2 bedroom cottage, thoughtfully updated whilst retaining many old features. Upstairs are a double and triple bedroom along with a shower room. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. Underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove keep you snug on cooler days. Guest access A private dog-proof garden is just outside the back door and a footpath runs through the property, which sits on 5.5 acres of private land, most of which you are welcome to explore. Farm animals may be loose, so please keep dogs on a lead if they are likely to chase livestock. Other things to note We are Rhodri and Michele and we love Cardigan Bay with its stunning heritage coast and believe our little part of it is extra special. Nothing gives us more pleasure than to share our love for the area with our visitors. The warmest of welcomes awaits you, followed by the opportunity to explore or just relax. The choice is yours. We're really proud of our holiday cottage. It is part of Pigeonsford Farm and has been lovingly restored to provide you with the perfect base for exploring magical West Wales.
