The 'Old Vicarage' offers a perfect family getaway or group of friends looking for some quiet, with stunning private grounds to relax and enjoy, sleeping up to 12 adults (plus 2 babies). Located in a lovely backwater village on top of many walks, close to pubs, amenities and beach, we're dog friendly so the whole family can come away and stay together. The space Enjoy a special stay in this beautiful listed house, full of character and charm, nestled amongst the trees and nature in stunning private grounds. Set back from the road, enter along the secluded driveway to the impressive entrance of the house where ample parking for 8+ cars are available. Offering 6 bedrooms on the first floor, sleeping 12+, travel cots available on request. 5 double rooms (one double is a zip link so can be made into two singles on request) and one single room with two single beds. 3 bathrooms all 3 with showers and 1 with bath (1 is on the ground floor). Downstairs offers you two reception rooms, a games room with pool table, TV and comfy beanbags, the other a study/reading room or workspace for the adults. The country style kitchen offers plenty of space, with a pantry cupboard, an Aga as well as oven and induction hob. Fridge-freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster and all your dining essentials. The dining table can seat 8 with an extendable table to make 12. Highchairs are available. The cosy lounge with comfy sofas, log burner and TV leads off the dining space looking out onto the gardens, an ideal place to relax and unwind. There's a space for everyone. Off the kitchen is the utility room with washing machine, boot room and the downstairs shower room (ideal for the dogs) leading to the back door. The beautiful wrap around grounds are private and secluded, there is a sun loving patio with dining furniture and BBQ and a huge beautiful garden which is secure for dogs when the gates shut. Looking out onto the fields, with walks on your doorstep, visit to the local backwaters, or play games in the garden. We are next to the local church so the bells do chime and the birds do sing (beautifully) :). It's the perfect family space and home you're looking for in a break. Located in a lovely village, offering two great pubs that serve food within close walking distance, plenty of walks, there is a local village shop or Tescos, Aldi & M&S all within 5 minute drive, Frinton and Walton Beaches are only 5 minutes away, Clacton-on-Sea 15 minutes, and Titchmarsh marina or Frinton & Walton yacht club also 5 mins by car.
