Enjoy life in this beautifully renovated attic in a medieval house! The view from the window sweeps over the rooftops and backyards of the old town directly to the Zihl Canal. The space ACCOMMODATION: The studio is in the middle of the historic old town, just above a great bakery (fresh croissants!). This beautifully restored, former staff apartment on the 3rd floor combines modern comfort with 800 years of tradition. Your room is a spacious studio of 30 m². It has a queen size bed, a private living area and private toilet/shower right next to your room. You share the lounge area and the well-equipped kitchen with two other studios. FOOD & SHOPPING: Within 100 meters you will find several restaurants and take-outs, a Coop grocery store, pharmacy, post office, bank and great little shops. On Wednesday and Saturday mornings there is a market at the church. LOCATION You can park for free in one of the covered parking spaces behind the house. On foot you can reach: the river 3 minutes, the lake and beach with sandy beach 10 minutes, Biel train station 10 minutes, Biel city center 15 minutes. There is a bus stop 100 meters from the property. Bus 6 takes you to Biel train station in 5 minutes, bus 86 to the picturesque town of Aarberg. During your stay The staff of the bakery "Schloss-Beck" will be happy to help you during the store opening hours from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm If no one is there, you can reach us by phone or text message Other things to note Bed linens and towels are available (1 set/guest) The kitchen is fully equipped, the most important ingredients are also available. There is a Nespresso machine in the kitchen and capsules for the first coffee. There is the possibility to do laundry, dry and iron.
