The flat is located close to Bab Ezzouar— around 2–3 miles from there and about 7 miles from Algiers city centre. In terms of amenities: • Two corner shops are within the neighbourhood (La Cité). • A couple of supermarkets are just 3–4 minutes’ walk away. • Bebzawar is about a 10-minute drive, and the nearby neighbourhood of Semaison is around 5 minutes’ drive, with many restaurants open late into the evening. • The airport is about a 15-minute drive. However, as is common across Algeria, the connection can be unreliable. Personally, I often use my phone data and hotspot for work — I’m a journalist and regularly handle large video uploads/downloads this way without issues. There is a beach in Ford de l’eau or Bordj elkifan which is about 15/20 mins drive and has a promenade which plus lively at night but the large beaches are about 50 mins to an hour drive starting from Ain Taya to Boumardes where people usual go for the day.
