Guests can enjoy easy access to the High Street from this centrally located flat with spacious bedrooms and the bonus of onsite parking for one vehicle. The property is a pleasant walk from the shops and restaurants, the river, train station and Brandon Country Park. High Lodge (Thetford) is 3 miles from the property, perfect for walks, cycling trails, park concerts and the Go Ape activity centre. There is outside space for bikes. Access to apartment is via an external stairwell. The space The property has been recently refurbished to create a stylish space for guests. The flat benefits from high ceilings, bright and modern decoration and home comforts. The lounge/dining room has seating for 4, a smart tv and a bay window overlooking the high street. The kitchen area is spacious and all cooking facilities and crockery is provided for guests to enable self-catering accommodation. Bedroom 1 is the largest of the two, with a Superking bed which can be adapted to two single beds on request. The room is fitted with a dressing table, armchair, chest of drawers and a hanging wardrobe. Bedroom 2 has a standard king size bed, chest of drawers and hanging clothes rail. The property is Victorian and has 'querky floors' including some sloping and two rooms are accessed down a couple of steps. We believe this adds to the charm! The flat has UPVC windows which are great at keeping guests warm whilst reducing external noise expected from a high street location. The property is above a business owned by the Host, which trades as a stylish coffee house and restaurant in the evening. Guests can enjoy having access to an eatery during their stay and would also have a 10% discount. Guest access Guests have full access to the 2 bedroom property and a parking space for one vehicle. The property is access via the rear of the High Street, down Lode Street. Guests are able to use the pedestrian walkway which accesses the High Street to the front. There is an area guests can use if they need to store bicycles during their stay (please bring your own locks). Other things to note Please note that the property is accessed via external metal stairs and also has some 'querks' not unusual in an old property - including sloping floors and small inner steps between rooms. For this reason, we do not believe it would be suitable for someone who has mobility or balance issues. Please also note that the 2nd bedroom will be locked if its not occupied. If you do require this additional room please contact your host. This is a no smoking property and we don't allow pets
