This spacious and peaceful accommodation offers a rejuvenating stay at an altitude of 1100 m in a green setting, less than an hour and a half drive from Lyon, Saint Etienne and Clermont-Ferrand. Located at the northern gateway to the Haut-Forez range, many hikes and four-season activities are possible (Col de la Loge and Chalmazel sites nearby). The space This house is composed of a kitchen, a living room, 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower and toilet upstairs. A second small bathroom with shower and toilet is available on the ground floor. It is equipped with central heating as well as an electric water heater for hot water. The fireplace is a closed hearth and has a double door, one in the living room and one in the kitchen. For hot summer periods, the house is old and naturally temperate, ideal for those who fear the heat wave. The house is south-facing facing the valley, not overlooked, with a large courtyard without a gate with its beautiful sycamore maple as well as a covered hall for shelter. the house is located close to the road with easy access by car to the front door. the nearest shops are 15 km or 15 minutes drive to Noirétable with department stores, bakeries, post office, banks, pharmacies, mechanics etc... In summer, the nearest swimming spots are the pretty Noirétable lake with sandy beach or even Lake Aubusson 1/2 hour away. In winter, the beautiful cross-country ski resort of Col de la Lodge in the town which is a magnificent gateway to the high moors of Pierre-sur-Haute and the downhill ski resort of Chalmazel 20 km away. the house is easily accessible by the A89 highway, Les Salles/Noiretable exit, 20 minutes away. The cities of Thiers and Montbrison are 45 minutes away and the major cities of Saint Etienne and Clermont Ferrand are 1 hour away each. Lyon is 1.5 hours away by highway. In short, a beautiful place to spend a beautiful quiet holiday in the middle of the Forezienne mountains.
