Bird House Margate
Description
Bird House Margate is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. There are bars, cafes, restaurants, a bakery within yards, art galleries and you can see the sea from the end of the road. The shell grotto is close, as well as the popular Dalby Cafe & Scott's antiques. It's a short walk to the turner gallery. I converted the flat myself from an old garage, I was keen for it to retain its loft style character. For those interested in the environment the flat is mostly run on solar. The space The room is up a single flight of stairs. It has a double bed, a sofa, bedside chair, wooden floors. There's a record player, a fold out table and chest of drawers. There's a small bathroom with shower. There are opening windows and the windows have blinds. I have now installed black out blinds also. There is no WiFi or TV, I might put them in, but I actually thought it is nicer without them. I can potentially provide a basic mattress if you have a child. Guest access Guests have the use of upstairs. Downstairs is my art studio which has a separate internal door. I am there occasionally during the week in the daytime to paint, but not often, and not of a weekend, nobody else has access to the property. Other things to note I do supply towels and handwash. Sometimes I run a swing dance class downstairs in my studio on the last Friday of the month between 7-9pm, it's not loud and this may even be a good thing if you want to join.
