The Fort is nestled at the foothills of the scenic Adirondack Mountains in central New York State in Utica's downtown arts district. Just a few minutes off the NYS Thruway, this urban neighborhood a convenient spot for a quick weekend getaway, business travel or attending special events like our world famous Boilermaker Road Race, hockey tournaments at the Aud/Nexus Center or Bouckville Antiques Week. Utica is culturally diverse with loads of great restaurants and festivals too. The space The Fort is a fully renovated historic townhouse from 1880, Utica's golden age of architecture. You will have the entire building to yourself with lots of room to spread out. Downstairs has a full kitchen and dining room, a parlor, a living room with a big TV and couch, an office with a desk, one half bath and one full bath (shower, no tub). There are three bedrooms upstairs. Paris has one queen bed and an attached half bath. London has a full and a twin sized bed. New York has one queen and one twin with a half bath just down the hall. New York and London have a locking door between them and can be used as a suite or separate rooms. The three bedrooms and the living room have window air conditioners. There is also a private outdoor courtyard, one attached garage spot to securely park your car and free wireless internet. Guest access You will have the full house to yourself. Owner lives close by and is on call 24/7 while you are staying here. Other things to note Available for film or photo shoots.
