Less than 1 min walk to the beach and restaurants of N. Mission/Pacific Beach, bordered by a boardwalk that extends for miles. Peak summer months req Sat to Sat stays. Rent bikes, jog or sunbathe while enjoying ocean views & breezes. Typically, we spot dolphins playing in the waves as we walk along the boardwalk taking a coffee/lunch break at the many beachfront dining locations. This area is not shy of nightlife or maybe just arrange a relaxing bonfire on the beach at the end of your court. The space This 3-story, Mediterranean beach house we call Villa de Pacifica, is located on a pedestrian-only court, steps from the sand. It is designed for outdoor entertaining and relaxation, with its many decks, patios, garden, and inground spa sanctuary. You will appreciate its unique archways, trellis covered deck, high ceilings, palm tree lined terra cotta walkway and lots of rustic charm. You no doubt will feel like you are on vacation. It's 3 bedrooms (3rd being a loft), and 2 bathrooms accommodate 8 guests. An additional pull-out sofa is also available. Given the stairs, multi-levels, balconies, spa, this house is not suitable for young children. Guest access The 1st floor romantic master bedroom features a King bed with French doors that lead out to the secluded in-ground spa sanctuary. It also features a large on-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. The main living areas of the house are on the 2nd level and are expansive. There are dining options to choose from, indoors and out. The large trellis covered deck with cafe lights off the kitchen serves as a social gathering area with an oversized sectional sofa and outdoor dining table (Another stone/tile table is located in the front garden). With the many dining options out your door, there will be no need to cook but the kitchen is fully equipped including both drip and keurig coffee makers. There is a BBQ grill on the patio. This home has 4 flat-screen TVs. Enjoy your favorite show or sporting event while drinking margaritas at the rustic living room bar. There is a fireplace in the living room that is non-functioning, but adds to the charm of the house. The sofa in the living room folds out to a queen bed should additional accommodations be needed. If you unfortunately find yourself having to work, there is a large "L-shaped" desk in a designated office area in the middle of the main level, looking down into the entry way. It's nice when sitting in the office to open the side door to a small walk out deck to bring in more natural light and fresh ocean air. The 2nd bedroom and the 2nd full bathroom with shower/tub are also located on this level. This guest room features a Queen bed and a bunk bed with a large storage armoire in between. A spiral staircase leads to the upper-level loft that serves as the 3rd bedroom with a single sized sofa bed and pullout trundle. French doors open out from the loft to yet another deck ideal for sunbathing with lounge chairs and small tables. This is also a great viewing deck for SeaWorld's seasonal fireworks show. This home also features a laundry room and a garage. The parking spaces in the garage are extremely small and will only accommodate very small vehicles. However, there is a private parking space outside the garage that will fit a very large SUV sized vehicle. You may not need a vehicle given the location of this beach house and easy accessibility of ride shares to visit nearby San Diego sites such as the Zoo (do not miss this!), SeaWorld, Old Town, Little Italy, Coronado Island, La Jolla to name a few. The airport is a very convenient 15-20 minutes away. Other things to note Booking guest must be age 25 or older and be staying at the property for the duration of contracted dates. A govt ID will be required to confirm age requirement is met prior to accepting reservation. In addition, this beach house is not suitable for small children, their safety is the sole responsibility of the booking guest.
