Woodland Hideaway

Woodland Hideaway is our geodesic dome set in a private, enclosed copse with a king-size bed and a stream along the edge, on the fringe of a working farm at Blue Anchor, ideal for couples glamping. An outdoor kitchenette in a modified horse box handles morning coffee, with a firepit and separate dining area beyond the dome. Walkers have Blue Anchor Beach around ten minutes on foot, where the firm sand at low tide is good for dogs and fossil hunting along the shingle. The space Sleeps 4 across 1 bedroom. Bedroom 1: King bed (en-suite attached, sleeps up to 4 with camp beds, flexible set ups available) Through the lockable double gates, the private copse opens up around you, with a stream running along its edge and the geodesic dome sitting on its own raised deck. Inside the dome, a king-size bed faces a curved window wall that frames the trees and fields beyond, with tables and chairs, coat-hanging space, fairy lights and candles for the evenings. There is a raised decking area with table and chairs so that you can enjoy your early morning coffee or a late glass of wine while watching the view. A short step outside brings you to the modified horse-box kitchenette, where a small fridge freezer camping stove and coffee making facilities are ready for your use. Bathroom facilities sit separately from the dome: a quirky, deliberately rustic horse-box shower with an attached cold-water sink for washing up, plus a clean composting toilet, both cleaned twice daily. Parking is free on the premises, either just outside the gates or inside the enclosure itself. Blue Anchor Beach is a 10-minute walk, with the West Somerset Railway station and the seafront cafés and pub all close by. Self check-in via keybox on arrival; full details will be shared closer to the day. Free parking will be available on site, either inside the gated area or just outside. Other things to note The bathroom facilities are outdoor and separate from the dome: a rustic horse-box shower plus a composting toilet with sink . The Hideaway sits on the edge of a working farm, so occasional farm traffic, animal movements and harvesting activity should be expected nearby. Camp beds can be added to sleep up to 4, but bedding for the extra beds will need to be brought by guests. Important Information: • Guests are not required to pay a security deposit for this stay. Please take care and tidy up after yourself during your stay. • Pets are allowed at an extra charge of £20 per pet per stay, up to a maximum of 2. Please include any pets when making your booking. • Early check-in and late check-out may be available at £20 per hour, up to 2 hours, subject to availability. Additional guests can stay in their own tent at £5 per person, up to 8 extra people. Both can be requested after booking through a secure third-party platform. During extremely dry conditions we may need to prohibit use of BBQs and the fire due to fire risk.
