In the heart of a preserved natural area, the house is one of the last dwellings of a hamlet nestled in the heart of the Cévennes foothills, where the road ends and the forest begins… The space Between sea and mountain, limestone plateaus and schist valleys, granite massifs and garrigues, the magnificent "Sud-Cévennes" territory, which is part of the Cévennes National Park declared "Europe's largest international starry sky reserve", extends from "Mont Aigoual" to "Gorges de l'Hérault" in a rich and wild natural setting. A subtle blend of stone and wood, this house blends perfectly with its environment and offers an incomparable resort setting, offering the privilege of tranquility and absolute calm to recharge your batteries with family or friends. Parties and noisy gatherings are not allowed for the respect and enjoyment of all. On a large property with private pool you will enjoy a generous living space for six people, perfectly equipped and completely renovated this spring. The sleeping area consists of two large bedrooms, one on the ground floor and the other upstairs, each furnished with a king size bed of 180 cm and a single bed of 90 cm that will be made before your arrival, a bathroom and separate toilet on each level. Each room is configurable on request, prior to the stay, together or separately, in the format of one king-size bed plus one single bed, or three single beds. All bed linen, towels, bath sheets, tea towels, common cleaning products and basic hygiene products are at your disposal. The main room, opening onto a large wooden terrace with deckchairs and garden furniture, is organized around an integrated kitchen, new and equipped, a comfortable dining area and a living room set with two sofas and a TV. The living space extends outdoors, around a swimming pool not overlooked with a very clear view of the surrounding mountains, where you can have your meals, swim and rest. Pool towels are provided. An arrival kit for the dishwasher and washing machine is provided for the first few days. For coffee lovers, a coffee bean machine is available: plan your packages. In the garden facing the house, a second shaded terrace with garden chairs is available for reading or resting; and for pétanque lovers, a small ball court is available at the back of the house. Marked trails that cross the hamlet allow, from your door, hikes of several hours for good walkers and "trailers", but also small walks accessible to families and within everyone's reach. The town of Vigan, just a few minutes' drive away, offers all the amenities you need for your stay. You can shop there, go to the big Saturday morning market, discover tourist spots or have a drink. On the square of the picturesque village of Saint André de Majencoules located three kilometers away, whose castle park is interesting to discover while strolling, at the foot of the Church and the war memorial, a nice bistro-grocery store, typical and pleasant with its terrace suitable for aperitifs, offers you a moment out of time. Guest access You can enjoy the entire house, pool and grounds privately. Private parking is available in front of the house entrance, allowing you to easily park your vehicles. Sports enthusiasts can store all their equipment and gear in a garden shed. As in Corsica, the Cévennes roads are sometimes narrow. The right attitude is to drive carefully by looking far ahead to stop where the crossing of a vehicle will sometimes be easier. Other things to note Parties and loud gatherings are not permitted out of respect for everyone and for everyone's enjoyment. Well-behaved pets may accompany you during your stay, subject to prior approval. Please note that the grounds are not fenced. Fiber-optic internet access enables high-quality Wi-Fi phone calls and allows for efficient remote work for those who want it. Guests without cars, traveling by plane, train, bus, can be picked up on request at their place of arrival, for a cost to be set depending on the location. During your stay (more than 5 nights), at your express request, a cleaning service is possible for an additional cost of €200, and a supply of bed linen and towels is possible for an additional cost of €100.
