Clean and Cozy Studio Apartment

Looking for a clean, comfortable place to rest while visiting town? This cozy garage studio apartment is the perfect getaway for the couple wanting to enjoy our small lake community or a quick overnight while passing through. Completely renovated with a full kitchen, bath and sleeping area all above our garage. Apartment has it’s own parking separate from main house. We are within walking distance to the public boat launch and near the historic Dixie if you want to catch a boat ride. The space This is a great little apartment that we have enjoyed sharing with family for many years. We are happy to now share it with you! Please note that while our home is on the lake, the garage apartment sits behind the house. So the apartment itself is not on the water, but please feel free to sit down by the water and enjoy the view. If you are an early riser, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sit with a drink in the evening to kick back and relax. Please note our parking for the apartment is separate from our home parking. We do not have space to accommodate parking for a boat and trailer and we cannot accommodate charging trolling motors. Accessing the lake, please walk down the road to the concrete apartment steps on the north side of our home. Please do NOT use the wooden steps next to the garage. Guest access We are happy for you to come sit down by the water with a good book or enjoy the sunrise (they are beautiful and I’ve never gotten over them in the 10 years we have been here). We just ask that you please be respectful of the area as we use this often as well. Please no fires in our fire pit. Please also note that we do not have room to accommodate parking for a fishing boat and trailer. Nor will we supply charging for a trolling motor. Other things to note Please keep in mind that this is a garage studio apartment, so space is limited and apartment only has a FULL size bed. We do not park our cars in the garage below the apartment, but we do on occasion need to get in our garage. We do try and be respectful of hour of the day when doing so.
