Palmer's Roost! Quiet Country Farm 3 Mins from WVL

Welcome to Palmer's Roost, a private upstairs guest suite, located on our century farm. We are located approx. 3 miles from downtown Waynesville, but the setting feels like a remote country retreat. The space is recently renovated, w/ private parking, easy access for vehicles of all types & room to pull a trailer. It includes a queen day bed w/ trundle (double-size bed) & perfect for 2 adults, 2 friends, parent/child, etc. You will be greeted by our friendly farm dogs Boomer & Fern. The space Our guest suite is a separate entry apartment at our house. It includes a queen daybed with trundle (full size), full bath and efficiency kitchen (sink, minifridge and microwave only). There is plenty of parking space if you are pulling a trailer. We have a few critters - dogs, cat, chickens, turkey, and cows. The dogs, Boomer and Fern are livestock guardian dogs and may bark at night. If they do it's for our protection from wildlife like coyotes and skunks, maybe a black bear. It doesn't happen every night and white noise works well for blocking if you are a light sleeper, usually doesn't last long. We have beautiful mtn views, sunsets year-round and a walking trail thru our field for your enjoyment. The trail starts at the chicken coop, next to the parking area and is marked with signage—great walk for seeing birds and the farm. You can also enjoy the scenery from the cafe table and Adirondack chairs that are provided. Stargazing is excellent year-round and fireflies are abundant in summer. We love our farm, it's so peaceful yet super close to town and we look forward to sharing it with you! Guest access Separate, private parking, with lighted access at night. This is an upstairs property and has a separate staircase with level entry to the stairs.
