This cozy cabin features a thoughtfully designed layout, with a bedroom downstairs adjacent to the bathroom, and another snug retreat in the loft area. The living room offers additional sleeping space with a pull-out couch, ensuring comfort for all guests. Step outside and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you. Have a picnic under the shade of an ancient maple tree. On the porch, enjoy your meals while watching birds flutter around their feeders, adding a delightful touch of nature to your dining experience. For those needing to stay connected or attend to tasks, a dedicated workspace awaits you at the desk in the multipurpose room. Convenient charging ports are thoughtfully placed on the lamps or nightstands beside each bed, ensuring your devices are always ready for your adventures. Whether you're here to hike scenic trails, explore local attractions, or simply unwind in the peaceful ambiance of Northern Door County, our A-frame Cabin offers a welcoming retreat for all. Come and experience the tranquility and charm of cabin living! Note: The Loft is accessed via a set of very steep stairs. These may be difficult to navigate. The stairs should be descended backwards, as if you were descending a ladder. Guest access The property is 1.2 acres and we encourage you to enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy dining on the front porch or the warmth of the fire pit in the back yard. There is a small trail that meanders toward the back of the property with a bench. Please enjoy this peaceful space while also respecting the boundaries of the property. Other things to note There is currently a fire ban in Door County. For this reason the Fire Pit has been temporarily removed. Septic Tank Care: Our A-frame cabin operates on a delicate private septic system. To ensure its proper function, please only flush the toilet paper provided. Do not dispose of feminine products, Q-tips, paper towels, or any other items down the toilet. Waste Disposal: For the health of our septic system and the environment, please dispose of all waste and food scraps, including food grease, in the designated garbage bins. Avoid pouring these items down the drains. Laundry Care: Please use only the laundry detergent provided for washing your clothes. This helps maintain the quality of our water system and ensures optimal performance of the washing machine. Heating: Heating is provided via baseboard heat controlled by the CADET dial thermostats located by the front door and by the entrance to the laundry room. In order to effectively heat the house please set both dials to the same temperature. The in house Pellet Stove only operates as a thermometer controlled heat regulating device in the winter. During the summer it is inoperable. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these house rules. They are in place to maintain the comfort and functionality of our cabin for all guests. Thank you for helping us preserve our beautiful surroundings and ensuring a pleasant stay for everyone. The detached Garage and Outdoor Shed are not accessible during your stay. This home does have exterior security cameras placed at the front and back doors as well as the sides of the house. They record both porches, front and back yards, entire driveway, and garage 24/7. We have access to cameras and recorded footage at all times. Maximum Number of Dogs: You may bring a maximum of 1 dog per stay. If additional dogs are brought on your trip penalties may apply. All check ins are reviewed using external security cameras at the property.
