Alexandre and Lucie welcome you to the former stables of their fully renovated home. This peaceful cottage in the countryside in the heart of the Loire Valley offers all amenities within 5 minutes. Nature lovers will enjoy an idyllic setting to recharge their batteries or discover the historical, cultural and natural wealth of the region, as well as its gastronomy and wines. Numerous activities: hiking, cycling, horseback riding, castles, Beauval Zoo... The space 10 minutes from Blois, our spacious cottage should surprise you with its modern and warm comfort, quiet, in nature, with many services nearby. You should feel right at home here to recharge and/or work on it (efficient internet connection and mobile network). The cottage is not specifically suitable for people with disabilities. * On-site: - Horse rental box - Equestrian facilities: riding arena, lunging ring, individual pastures. * Nearby: - Many businesses in Cour-Cheverny. - Local producers. - Bike rentals. * In the heart of the Loire Valley: - Gare de Blois: 13 km. - Loire by bike: 2.4 km. - Château de Cheverny: 3.8 km. - Château de Blois: 14 km. - Château de Chambord: 15.5 km. - Beauval Zoo: 35 km. - Château de Chenonceaux: 42 km. * The train line from Paris serves Orléans, the chateaux of Chaumont-sur-Loire, Amboise, Langeais, Saumur, Tours, Angers, Nantes... Other things to note Cour-Cheverny is distinguished by the dynamism of its village around the friendly church square: many shops (bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores, butchers, cafes, pharmacy, post office, bike rental...). A market is held every Friday morning. Cour-Cheverny is a very pretty village typical of the Loire Valley, do not hesitate to take the time to discover the church of St Aignan (12th-16th centuries), the small heritage (alleys, brick oven...), but also the pretty surrounding countryside, at the crossroads of Sologne and Touraine, between ponds, forests, vineyards... The village is crossed by several bike paths of the "châteaux à vélo" routes. A bike ride will allow you to discover this beautiful countryside and several castles. The village is also known for its wine activity, on the AOC Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny (from a rare grape variety: "Romorantin").
