Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable accommodation. Great location, simple standard, therefore cheap, easily accessible :-) It is a special place indeed! The space Please read THIS ALL carefully! (AND READ FURTHER DOWN "more/other info" TO KNOW MORE ABOUT OUR ACTIVITIES & THE SERVICES WE OFFER) 1. The location is magic, right next to the fjord, the mountains at your back (walking distance), 3 min drive to the parking which gives you the shortest walk in to Sofia-tinden (one of the many many trek and ski mountains around here) 2. BUT IT IS A CAMPING EXPERIENCE WE OFFER. PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT HOTEL, HOSTEL OR HOME STANDARD of facilities, cleanliness, etc. Expect normal camping standard :-) IN GENERAL, THE PLACE IS A COMFORTABLE PLACE TO STAY FOR UP TO 3 PERSONS. Read below (point 3 and 4) about booking for more people. Because, as you have seen, it is our caravan we rent out. It is separate from the house, and has only camping facilities - water is filled in water tank(s)... amazingly good drinking water though! - there is only a portapotty like, camping style toilet, and it needs to be emptied upon you departure (at Lyngseidet or other public toilet or camping grey water area). We can do this for you at an extra cost of 60 euros if you wish) - there is electricity included when you stay in the caravan near the house where we stay - We can move the caravan for you, to any other legal parking spot for such in the Lyngen Area, for an additional cost (depends on distance). For example if you wish to stay near a specific mountain, a fjord specific fjord are or lake, etc...then we can not provide electricity, but flashlights and firewood for heating :-) - Normal electricity use is included if you stay in the caravan at the spot near where we stay in the house. - You can also rent the caravan separately yourself, if you have a car with a hitch, and take it to the place(s) of your liking 3. If you do not mind sleeping near each other the big bed can actually accommodate 3, or 2 grown ups and a child). If you communicate with us about this in advance we can consider that. The separate bed is only good for 1 person, so all together that creates a maximum of 4 4. If you need/wish to book for more people, please just let us know, and we can check what is available nearby. We have different options, and other people we work with nearby/in the area. 5 We offer this place CHEAPLY as an option to more expensive places around, to facilitate for you people who do not need or require high standard to be happy when you are visiting an amazing nature area :-) it is meant as a DO IT YOURSELF (DIY) alternative. We might not be around much, and might not have a lot of time prior to your stay to answer questions about touristic experiences, so please ask others about this, including the LYNGEN MUNICIPALITY OFFICE, at Lyngseidet. It could indeed happen that we have time for this, but it is not sure, so we would like you not to expect it. If you wish to book activities or rentals with us, we will naturally help you with that, or connect you with the right people though. 6. Due to what we have written above, we do in general expect you to bring your own sleeping gear, towels, etc.... in case you end up in an "emergency" related to this issue, we will naturally help you out. In Lyngseidet center there is a great public swimming pool with sauna and shower, and for about 5 euros you can use the facilities, 6 days a week (not all day long though), indeed recommended, very comfortable and sooting, we use it a lot ourselves :-) Guest access Your place is the caravan, and all the nature in the area :-) Please respect neighbors... Other things to note We can take you on various tours or activities, or arrange this for you, at an extra cost. WE CAN ALSO TEACH YOU THESE SKILLS, or set you up with someone else who can teach you (beginner and intermediate levels) 1. We can take you on, or set you up for a snowscooter drive 2. We can set you up for dog-sledding 3. We can take you randonne skiing or snowboarding 4. We can take you cross country skiing 5. We can take you trekking 6. We can take you kite surfing on snow or water 7. We can take you wingfoiling 8. We can take you sailing (potentially also sail & ski) Kite and wingfoil: We can in some cases rent equipment to you.
