Iris In 2017, we opened Les Voltes, a historic home from home built atop two 15th-century arches. It was an instant hit with guests, who fell in love with its blend of modern and old, design and comfort, and attention to detail. Now, 7 years later, we are proud to open a brand-new apartment in the same building. Whichever option you book, you always have exclusive use of the rooftop chillout and terrace area. Guests also have free access to the village swimming pool during the summer months (June 22nd to September 11th). This newly remodeled 80-m2 apartment, which we call Voltes II, has a bright, spacious open-plan living room and a brand new kitchen/dining area with wall-to-wall windows framing the great outdoors. The kitchen is equipped with a five-burner gas hob and dishwasher. From the breathtaking views and natural light to the stunning original art work by local artist Enric Adserà and stylish decor, every detail in this space has been designed to delight. A short corridor leads to three spacious bedrooms, each furnished with a king-sized bed (150 x 200 cm), brand new mattresses, and plush linens to ensure a restful night's sleep. The bathroom boasts fantastic 1970s fittings, modernised for maximum comfort and merging retro charm with contemporary convenience. Head up one flight of stairs to the rooftop chillout area, equipped with comfy lounge seating, a sound system, a disco ball, over 700 records and CDs, darts, books, games, and a mini-bar. Large wooden windows and glass doors lead out to a stunning terrace with breathtaking views over vineyards, olive groves, and rolling hills. One more flight up the spiral staircase brings you to a rooftop 360º solarium with loungers, ideal for sunbathing or stargazing. Adjacent to the chillout area is an office with a wall-to-wall window, a piano, and yoga equipment. Barberà de la Conca is rich in history and culture, featuring a Knights Templar castle, an Art Nouveau “wine cathedral,” and the first-ever agricultural cooperative in Catalonia. The village is surrounded by family-run wine cellars and endless trails, perfect for exploration on foot or with our e-mountain bikes. Local amenities include two bars, a pharmacy, a shop/take-away, and an agrobotiga (wines & local produce). The broader region of La Conca de Barberà is dotted with monasteries, wineries, castles, and medieval villages, making it a perfect destination for history and wine enthusiasts. Les Voltes II boasts a prime location, off the beaten track—this is Catalan village life at its best—but just an hour south of Barcelona and 30 minutes from Tarragona and its beautiful beaches. Les Voltes comfortably sleeps six guests. For larger groups, consider renting the full house, which can accommodate up to 10 guests, with five king-sized rooms. Our past guests’ biggest regret? The pool From June 23 to September 11, guests at Les Voltes have free access to the village's tranquil swimming pool. Surrounded by lush greenery and set against the picturesque rolling hills, the pool area includes two delightful kiddie pools, perfect for younger guests. Adding to the experience, there's a charming bar and restaurant featuring a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the pool, where you dine or simply have a cool refreshment while savoring the serene ambiance and village life. E-mountain bike rental At Les Voltes, we embrace sustainable tourism with our e-mountain bike rentals. Ideal for discovering scenic trails through vineyards and olive groves, exploring local villages, or following the Cistercian monastery route, these bikes offer an eco-friendly way to experience the area's charm. Choose from our curated routes or create your own adventure, blending environmental consciousness with exploration. We have three e-bikes on site. Additional bikes can be rented from nearby Montblanc (advance notice is necessary; we can help). New Registration Rules for Tourist Rental Properties in Spain As of December 2, 2024, a new law requires us to collect and submit specific information about all guests staying in our property. This information must be reported to the authorities within strict timeframes, and failure to comply may result in fines. At the Time of Booking We are required to collect: · Name and surname(s) of the person making the booking, · Email address (essential for communication), · Telephone number, · Contract number and date (from the booking), · Arrival and departure dates, and · Number of guests. Please note: Airbnb does not provide us with your email address automatically. If you include your email address in a message to us through Airbnb, we can use it; otherwise, we will need you to provide it directly. We will provide you with a secure form or link to collect this information before your arrival. Completing this form is mandatory; failure to do so will result in cancellation of your booking as we are legally obliged to submit this information within 24 hours of your check-in. Important Notes: All data will be submitted securely to the Mossos d'Esquadra, the regional police force, as required under Catalan regulations.
