This comfortable 1880s manor house on an 8500 m2 property, bordering a river, will offer you a peaceful stay with family or friends. Come and enjoy your evenings with a good board game or discussions over a drink. You will enjoy the tranquility of this countryside in the heart of a beautiful, typical Norman village. Beautiful walks await you as well as many tourist sites. Giverny, castles, nature sites... The space For the moment you will have 3 large bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor (The second floor will be redone next winter). On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining room and living room that seats 12 people. Board games are available in the gîte as well as books. A 58-inch HD TV and Wi-Fi. A brazier will allow you to spend pleasant evenings and to barbecue and grill. You will also have a shaded terrace and a half-timbered shelter open to the beautiful garden, where you can play ping-pong, foosball and other activities while being sheltered in case of rain or heat. A large lawn of 1000 m2 will also allow you to have fun with badminton, volleyball, football and other grass activities. Guest access I'll be there to welcome you. In case of absence, a key box is located outside, I will tell you the code to access it. The top floor of the accommodation is not yet in service. Please do not access it. You have the part of the land where the house is located. The rest of the land, after the white barrier, is in the process of becoming a permaculture market garden farm. With future forest gardens and other developments that will arrive as the project progresses. You can also stroll through this part and enjoy this little paradise of bio-diversity being created. There you will already find chickens that are easy to pet. You can park up to 4 cars on the property while leaving me a passage to access the cultivation area. I am only very rarely there in the evenings and on weekends, but almost every weekday between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. This will allow you to have explanations and advice on the region and the activities to do. Other things to note The main attractions nearby are: - 3 minutes from the Autheuil-Authouillet Canoe base for a magnificent descent of the Eure. - 200 m from a fish farm for trout fishing - 3 min from one of the best bakeries in the region (bread drop-off from this bakery in the grocery store 100 m from the property). - 10 min from the gardens of the Château d'Acquigny - 10 minutes from Pacy and 15 minutes from Evreux - 15 min from the Acroforest adventure park with tree climbing in the heart of nature, combat course and plenty of other activities. - 20 minutes from Vernon and 25 minutes from Giverny and the beautiful gardens of Claude Monet. (Vernon-Giverny Station is 45 minutes from Paris St Lazard). - 30 min from Château Gaillard and Château de la Roche Guyon - 50 min from Château Champs de Bataille, Château d'Harcour, Abbey of Bec Hellouen - 1 hour from Deauville - 1.5 hrs. from the D-Day landing beaches. Baby cots and extra beds are available on request. Other baby or child equipment can be provided if requested sufficiently in advance.
