Traditional Mongolian Yurt with Mountain views

Experience off-grid living in a traditional Yurt with Mountain views. King-size bed, separate bathroom with flushing toilet, sink, shower and hot water. Outdoor kitchen and deck with amazing views. The kitchen has a fridge, cooker and sink. Great walks and mountain bike trails from the yurt. 10 minute walk to Salgueiro do Campo, 2 cafe/bars, Pharmacy, mini market, ATM. 15 minute drive to Castelo Branco, with shops, bars, restaurants, parks and gardens. River beaches and lakes a short drive away. The space **NOTICE** The Yurt is advertised as sleeping 4 people (1 king size bed + 1 double sofa bed), we also have child size bunk beds available if required, providing and extra 2 spaces for children. So we can actually accommodate 6 people altogether. **NOTICE** We are an "off the grid" listing, meaning, we are not connected to any of the normal household services. All of our electricity comes from the sun (solar), our water for showering and washing comes from a local spring or Fonte (we collect this before our guests arrive, so they have plenty of water for their stay), and our gas comes from standard propane bottles (all provided). We are off grid, our power comes from solar, therefore, it is not possible for us to use high power appliances, such as, Air conditioning, washing machines, a microwave, coffee machine, air fryer, hair dryers, etc. Please bear this mind when booking with us. Set in beautiful Portuguese countryside, with stunning Mountain views and amazing sunsets. There is a king-size bed, making for a great night's sleep. Alongside the yurt you will find your own modern bathroom, with a flushing toilet, sink, shower and hot water on demand. Also included is your own outdoor kitchen, complete with deck for outdoor dining, all benefiting from the most amazing views. The kitchen comes with an under counter fridge with freezer compartment, a fully functional oven with 4 gas burners, plenty of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, utensils and cutlery. We also provide Coffee, Tea, Sugar and drinking water all free of charge. The area has a lot to offer including, fantastic walks and mountain biking trails directly from the yurt door. A 10 minute walk brings you to the village of Salgueiro do Campo with it's cafe/bars, Pharmacy, mini market, ATM machine and beautiful church. A 15 minute drive from the yurt you will come to the city of Castelo branco with it's many shops, bars, restaurants, clubs, museums, parks and gardens and of course, the Castle. There are also many beautiful river beaches, lakes and stunning villages to visit in the area. For people who might be thinking about buying land, maybe starting their own off grid life here in beautiful Central Portugal, a stay at our Yurt will be the perfect way to get a feel for off grid living first hand, a true "try before you buy" experience! After a long day land hunting, you can kick back and relax surrounded by nature while you consider your options, and if there's any help or advice we can offer regarding the matter, we would be more than happy to give it 😁 Guest access The Yurt is situated in its own space, with it's own separate bathroom and outdoor kitchen/dining area. There are no other rentals so guests will have the whole Yurt space to themselves. There are 2 designated parking spaces at the site, within a few feet of the Yurt. Other things to note Due to strict fire regulations right across central and other parts of Portugal, campfires, barbecues and the use of petrol powered devices are prohibited between certain dates and times during the hotter months.
