Cozy camping get away in Slave Lake, AB. Camper/RV located in a private campground on a fully fenced and treed lot. RV sleeps 4, 1 bedroom and 1 bath. The space Linens (bedding/towels/pillows) are not included in the posted price. For an additional fee of $25 per night all can be made available. The main bedroom is a queen bed. The couch is a hide-a-bed and can sleep 2 people. The table can also be made into a bed (but would recommend for 1 individual). The main room has a TV and a DVD player, as well as a stereo system. There is no Satellite TV or Wifi provided. The deck is a cozy place to set up dinner, play cards or just to relax. You can get out of the sun on the warm days and of course the wind and the rain. On each end of the deck is privacy/sun scenes that can be cranked down for addition protection from the elements. Roland on the River has boat rentals which can be arranged through the Campground office. All you need is your boaters license and your own life jackets. Roland on the River also has a marina so bring your own boat and enjoy some of the best fishing anywhere. Berths have to be reserved through Roland on the River. Contact Betty or Roland for more information. You are minutes away from Devonshire Beach. One of the town's best kept beautiful secrets. Gilwood Golf Club is 5 minutes up the road where you can take in 9 or 18 holes of golf. Other attractions is the Slave Lake Bird Observatory, the Martin Mountain look out which on a clear day offers an amazing view of Slave Lake. The Town of Slave Lake proper offers many amenities, Norther Lakes Aquatic Center, located in the Northern Lake College, Rex Movie Theater located on main street, Slave Lake Multi-Rec Center which contains a field house and running track as well as a children's indoor playground. There is also numerous outdoor parks/playgrounds through out Town including a splash park. The Town also offers a Walmart, No Frills, Sobeys and a Canadian Tire along with many other shops restaurants and gas bars as needed. Guest access Guests have full access and use of the RV and lot. If you have friends or family joining you with a tent or RV you will need to make separate arrangements with Roland on the River and pay them directly. Other things to note Firewood is not supplied. You are welcome to bring your own. Roland on the River sells firewood at a great value and will deliver directly to you at your camp site. Call Betty or Roland at the Campground office to make arrangements for delivery and payment. Each rental comes with empty sewer, if during your stay you fill the sewer, contact the Campground office during daytime hours and they arrange to have it emptied for a charge of $25 plus G.S.T. which is to be paid directly to the Campground. The unit will also be filled with water and additional water can be arranged by contacting the Campground office.
