Captains Quarters @ Lakeshore Haven

Discover glamping at its finest here at Lakeshore Haven; a quiet getaway from the hustle & bustle of life, whether it is being active in/on the water or reading a book by the water or watching for the gazillion stars by a campfire. This small houseboat on the lake is equipped with a kitchenette filled with essentials to prepare a meal; as well as a grill & outdoor dining area. You can eat in or out side your choice. The space The houseboat is located on a private lake. Captains Quarters has open floor plan with a full bed that sleeps 2 adults comfortably and a half bath. The Kitchenette is equipped with mini refrigerator, two-burner stove & coffee pot. There all the essentials you will need to prepare meals such as pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We have also included basic spices, coffee, creamer, sugar and bottled water. We provide sheets, towels, cleaning supplies for your use. There are books, games and toiletries in case you forgot something. There is an outside private shower, fire-pit, swing and outside grilling area with a picnic table. Our little farm is the home to a nonprofit equine rescue, Carolina Animal Haven(501c3). We are an active working farm. We have all types of farm animals with a beautiful lake view. Guest access You have complete access to the houseboat "Captain's Quarters" and the outside grilling area with picnic table & outside shower. You will share with other guests the dock, lake toys, community fire pits, bath houses and small walking trails. Other things to note SEE BELOW: ONLY by permission we allow golf carts Kayaks, canoe and paddle boards are shared with other guests. You can bring your own if you like. Please NOTE - only human powered water crafts are allowed. NO Motors. If you have the need, we offer dog sitting while you are off sight seeing and we have kennels next to our home so they can rest while you're out. You must request these services. While you are here, In the general store, we have here for your convenience: Bundles firewood ($5 each). Bags of ice ($3 each) Worms ($4 / bowl). Snacks ($1.25 each) bottled water We also have merchandise available in the office t-shirts, hoodies, hats, key chains, car coasters, car fragrance, insulated cups. All purchases goes toward the care of our rescued horses & donkeys.
