The charming cottage itself exudes warmth and comfort, providing a cozy retreat where you can feel right at home. The space The cottage has two bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed. The listed rate covers one bedroom only, suitable for one or two guests sharing a room. The second bedroom remains locked unless requested and is available for an additional $45 per night. If you're two individuals who’d prefer separate rooms, or if you're a group of three or four, the second bedroom can be made available. To avoid being overcharged: If you're a group of two singles or up to four people, please book for three guests and send me a quick message with the details of your group. I’ll manually note the fourth guest for you. Booking for four guests through Airbnb will automatically add $90 per night, instead of the correct $45, due to their pricing setup. It’s a comfortable retreat with plenty of charm, though it does have a few rustic imperfections that add to its character. Families & Children Children are welcome, but please note they must be fully supervised at all times. The cottage is designed as an adult retreat, so you’ll need to bring any child accessories (e.g., cots, highchairs, toys). We do have a selection of board games available for family fun! Bedding & Linen The bedding and linen may differ from the photos, but rest assured, everything is fresh, clean, and comfortable for your stay. Linen Care & Avoiding Stains To keep our linens fresh and in great condition for all guests, we kindly ask that you: 🧖‍♀️ Remove makeup, fake tan, and heavy skincare products before going to bed. These can cause permanent stains on sheets and towels. 🚿 Shower before bed if you’ve applied tanning products to help prevent stains. 🛏️ Use the provided dark towels for makeup removal instead of white linens. ⚠️ Damaged or heavily stained linens that cannot be salvaged will incur a replacement fee. We appreciate your care in helping us maintain a high standard for all guests. Pool Access The use of the pool is not included in the listing fee but is offered as a courtesy. The pool is a shared space, and access is at the homeowner’s discretion. Please respect their right to refuse entry at any time. Property Use & Guest Responsibility Guests are welcome to enjoy the cottage and the surrounding property, except for the main house, shipping container, and garage (attached to the cottage), which are private. All items provided for your use during your stay remain the property of the homeowner. Any removal or damage to these items may result in additional charges.
