Small house from the 50s with views of mountains and large waterfalls. The house is 200 meters from the sea, in the peaceful countryside of Eidsland. It takes 90 minutes to drive to Bergen. To Voss it takes 1 hour to drive. The place offers great nature and nice hiking trails in forests and mountains. By the sea you can fish or swim. Fishing licenses must be purchased when fishing in rivers or water. A kayak is at your disposal. Boat rental in the area. Linen and towels are included. Wi-Fi & Chromecast. Not TV channels. The space The house has simple standard with wooden floors. The heating is heat pump with air conditioning in addition to electric ovens in the bedrooms. Fully equipped retro kitchen w dishwasher. Dining area for 4 people in the kitchen and private dining room with large table. The two bedrooms in the attic have low ceiling height. The bathroom is in the basement, where I have also stored some tools, paint and various items. The stairs inside the house are steep, so be careful. Large terrace with fire pit and dining area, sun loungers are available. The access from the parking to the house is a 100 meter path with several stairs. Luggage must be carried, remember good shoes! Guest access The whole house is available. The owner stores private belongings behind curtains in the attic and in the basement. There is a main entrance up behind the house and a front door in the basement. The area around the house is steep terrain, with a path away to a viewing area. There is a terrace around parts of the house with tables, benches and fire pit with grill grate. Lounge chairs and an electric grill are in the basement. Parking by the main road, but can drive up to the neighboring house for unloading luggage and goods if there is no other car at the house. When parking use the area that the parking sign is. Other things to note Be aware of the roads, they are narrow and winding. Free parking by the main road. Park in the area where the parking sign is located. From the parking lot to the cabin you have to walk 100 meters on a path with several stairs so the luggage must be carried. Good shoes are recommended. The house has 3 floors with steep stairs internally and low ceiling height in the loft, so just be aware. The only bathroom is in the basement. The basement is storage room for homeowner where tools and garden tools are kept. There is a café (open 1-5 pm), and a thrift shop by the quay at Eidsland. You can also rent a boat there. There is a playground by the road to Myster, about 200 meters from the intersection. There are good bus and train connections to Bergen and Voss/Oslo. Grocery store and gas/diesel at Stamnes and in Modalen about 15 minutes drive from the cabin. In Modalen there is a swimming pool, gym, bowling and restaurant. To Dale it takes approx 30 minutes. There is a swimming pool, fitness center, shops, pharmacy and several eateries. Voss, Myrkdalen, Kvamskogen and Stordalen have ski resorts. Extreme sportsveko on Voss starts June 23.
