The Burrow Glamping

Retreat to our romantic bolthold in the heart of the Peak District National Park. 'The Burrow' is one of our cosy romantic bell tents available at Smithyfields Campsite, situated In the heart of the picturesque village of Alstonefield. inside you'll find a full size double bed, wood burning stove, cooking essentials and electric. Outside the tent is surrounded by private fencing which encloses a firepit area with outdoor seating and has a Gas camping stove for preparing meals. The space The Location the bell tent is perfectly located for a wonderful peak district getaway, just a stones throw from wonderful sights such as the Divedale stepping stones, Those cave, Tissington cycle trail and the Manifold Valley. all which are easily walked to from the site, there's maps and trail routes available so you can set off on many of the stunning walks straight from the tent. our village pub is situated just opposite the site as well as being a 5-10 minutes drive from many other pubs and cafes. Close to the villages of Ilam Hartington and Tissington and close to the main road which links to nearby Market towns of Ashbourne, Buxton Bakewell and Matlock. The Site The Burrow bell tent is one of the glamping accomodations on our small adult only campsite. the campsite is a quiet and private location in the village of Alstonefield. the bell tent guests use our warm and clean onsite facilities offering hot showers, toilets and large wash basins. The Tent we have tried to include everything in the burrow to ensure a stress free and enjoyable stay. there's electric available for charging devices as well as using the heater, kettle and toaster. the wood burning stove offers warmth and atmosphere as you curl up listening to the fire crackle and glow. There's a basic kitchen area with essentials such as oil, pots pans and utensils for cooking outside on the gas stove. there's also a firepit with grill for Alfresco dining. and two outdoor chairs for relaxing next to the campfire. there's a small communal fridge freezer close to the tent for guests use. Guest access guests have sole access to the tent and tents private garden during your stay. Bathroom facilities are shared by other guests on the site. there is also a small communal fridge freezer guests can use close to the tent. Other things to note Towels are included, firewood is available to buy on site, we accept one well behaved dog or anyone under 18yrs. excessive dog hair on furnishings will be charged £15 for if not cleaned up. there is no fridge in the Burrow tent so we recommend bringing a cool box with you, there is also a small communal fridge freezer you can use close to the tent. Thiis is a quiet campsite so we ask noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm, no amplified music and no visitors to the guest accomodations. the bell tent has parking for one car so please get in touch if you require space for any additional vehicles.
