The space Steve developed the Cow Shed experience because he wanted to create a space that everyone would love to holiday in.  He was also keen to utilise his passion for sustainable building and natural materials. Steve halved the remaining steading by building a straw-bale wall which was plastered using traditional clay. This created a generous open-planned living space which visitors to the original Cowshed had always commented on, finding it a real plus to their short break and holiday in Perthshire. A centrally located wood burning stove separates a wonderfully cosy sitting room from the spacious open plan kitchen dining area. It was important to Steve that comfort, sustainability and style were the focus of Cowshed 2. The kitchen has been made almost entirely from recycled pallet wood; a theme continued on pallet wood-clad feature walls found in both the main living area and adjacent bedroom ( bed available as Super King or twin beds - please specify when booking) Underfloor heating spreads across the cottage and a wood burning stove guarantees cosiness in all weathers.
