The Homestead at Pumpkin Creek

Have you ever wished you could stay overnight at the pumpkin patch?! Come out and enjoy the farm in the "off season". We have some of our fan favorites like the corn bin, swings, the stadium, and goat feeding available for guests to enjoy as well as a beautiful, stocked pond for fishing. The view out the double eight foot sliding doors or off the deck overlooks the pond and the rolling hills with a beautiful view for your enjoyment. Come out and enjoy the farm! The space The Homestead at Pumpkin Creek Farms was our home for 10 years prior to building a new home on the farm and moving next door. We enjoyed raising our young family there and we're excited to share it with you. It's been renovated into a beautiful spot for you to relax and enjoy the farm. We have three bedrooms and a full and half bath. The Master (Queen bed) has the half bath attached to it. The second bedroom (Queen bed) and the third bedroom (two bunks) are all near the full bathroom. Our living room, dining room, and kitchen are an open concept that should be a comfortable spot for you to hang out and enjoy some meals with your friends and family. This open concept has two eight foot sliding glass doors with a wonderful view overlooking the pond and the rolling pasture and farm fields. The deck has a grill, as well as seating for four with a gas fire pit for your enjoyment. We also have a fire pit and seating in your back yard and a pond (which was recently dredged and restocked. So it’s beautiful, but the fish are small.) We also have some fun swings and a some other activities! We hope you'll come enjoy the homestead! Guest access When you arrive you'll see a large red shed with the "Pumpkin Creek Farms" logo. You'll take the main driveway just past (east) of the shed and pull up into the mail area. There is a red car port you're welcome to use that can hold two cars. The entry to the house is on the back deck of the home. You'll follow the sidewalk to the brown deck and go up on the deck on the south side of the house. Entry to the house is in the exterior door with a key code entry. Prior to your visit we'll give you a code to enter the house. The entire main level of the house and the deck is yours to enjoy. You're also welcome to enjoy the everything out in the yard including the swing sets, the outdoor pavilion/picnic tables, crazy corn bin, the pond and you can visit the goats if you'd like. The front of the house is a commercial kitchen used for the pumpkin patch, however it is not in use while we are renting this property to guests. The lower level of the house is storage for the kitchen and my office. We are not using it regularly while guests are visiting for your privacy, however this space is not accessible for our homestead guests. If for some reason we need to go into the lower level space while you're visiting, you'll be notified before we do that. Other things to note This is a working farm, even though our pumpkin season is not in full swing. So there will be some activity around the farm during the day. We'll have some goat feed for you to hand feed if you'd like and you'll notice chickens walking around the farm. We also have our labradoodle, Oakley on the property. While we do our best to keep him over at our house, he does live here and may occasionally wander over to meet some new friends. He's not nearly as attention starved as he lets on. ;-) If he ever visits and is not wanted, just let us know and we'll come get him. Trash bins are located at the front corner of the house, please put all trash there and put the lid on it.
