Stunning Cottage, Clear Lake, 4 Season with Sauna

Come and make lasting memories at our 4-season waterfront cottage on beautiful crystal clear Lake Mississagagon. The cottage has huge principal rooms providing plenty of space for family/friends, is situated on 2+ acres of land, has over 300 feet of waterfront with shallow entry off the dock, a 4-person Sauna, stunning sunsets and a wide range of activities to enjoy! In addition, you'll be close to Bon Echo Provincial Park and the town of Cloyne for more outdoor adventure and convenience. The space LIFE AT THE LAKE Sit back and relax on the large dock with gentle entry steps into pristine waters or enjoy the small sandy beach. Lounge on the lily pad mat or use the floats/noodles available. View the stunning sunsets from the expansive deck or dock. Enjoy the 4-person sauna with lake views. Bring or rent a boat and tour the lake/go fishing, or explore using our kayaks and paddleboards. In the winter, bring your snowmobiles and take advantage of the trails (weather pending). Enjoy outdoor dining using the variety of areas available. Gather around the fire pit in the evenings for roasting marshmallows, sharing stories and star gazing. Take advantage of the abundant greenspace for outdoor games like bocce ball, croquet and badminton. Mississagagon lake is located in the township of North Frontenac has a lake perimeter of 39.6km and a lake area of 5.3km2. At its deepest point the lake is 24m deep. THE COTTAGE This cottage is well furnished and comes fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and easy stay. The great room has soaring ceilings, stunning fireplace and wall to wall windows facing both the lake and the woods. On the other end of the cottage, also facing the lake, there is a 4-season "Frontenac" room with a flatscreen TV and streaming apps. The kitchen area is a chef's delight and open to a beverage bar and large dining area. The main floor has two bedrooms, one with direct access to a 3 piece bathroom with walk in shower complete with safety bars, and the other bedroom has its own private half bathroom. Move upstairs to the recreation area with ping pong table and a SE facing balcony for morning sun. There are two bedrooms, one with bunkbeds (double at the bottom and single on top) as well as an additional single bed. The other is the lake facing primary bedroom with vaulted ceilings, direct access to the second floor 3 piece bathroom and a private balcony. THE DRIVE It is a straightforward ~2.5 hour drive from the GTA or ~1.5 hours from Ottawa. Follow the "Sigurdson" signs as you near the cottage off Regional Road 506. Easy path in, no steep driveway and plenty of space for parking. WORK FROM THE COTTAGE Guests can work from the cottage, using one of the multiple locations (e.g. desk or table in “Frontenac” room) with great views and high speed Starlink internet. FISHING Mississagagon lake supports a warm water fishery of Lake Herring, Walleye, Northern Pike, Rock Bass and Yellow Perch (Zone 18, Eastern Ontario) SNOWMOBILING Check the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) website for maps and information on regional trails, as well as the Destination Ontario website. You will also need to purchase an OFSC trail permit to use the maintained trails. This entry code will be valid for the duration of your stay. Other things to note: Your safety is very important to us. Please carefully read our house rules below before booking. By making a reservation, you implicitly agree to comply with all rules listed below and under 'Things to Know' (found at the bottom of the listing in ''House rules, Additional rules"). This includes, but is not limited to: * Hen, stag or similar parties are not allowed. Absolutely no guests outside those included on the booking. This is a family friendly area and a nice relaxing quiet part of the lake - no loud parties. * All Guests agree to follow local fire burning regulations and posted fire bans (e.g. no daytime burning from 7am to 7pm - May 1 to Oct 31). Current fire ban status can be found at the North Frontenac website. * Guests agree to obtain and bring all applicable licenses e.g. fishing and boating, if participating during their stay. LIFEJACKETS ARE REQUIRED. * Strictly no extra guests or pets. This could result in an immediate cancellation of your reservation without a refund. We may review outdoor cameras to verify the number of guests, however we do respect guest privacy and the 3 exterior cameras facing the entry doors will be turned off after guest arrival until departure time. * Zero tolerance for smoking, vaping or drugs of any kind. This could result in $1000 minimum fee. * Septic System Guidelines: Do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Clogging due to other items during your stay will incur plumber fees for repairs, according to assessment. * No outdoor shoes inside the home. All shoes must be taken off at entry. * No Videography or photography for professional purposes without prior consent. * Personal Responsibility for Water Safety: It is recommended that life vests are used at all times. ABSOLUTELY NO DIVING ALLOWED: water levels fluctuate, it is ~4 feet deep at the end of the dock and there are some rocks to be aware of. * Service Access: In some cases, our maintenance team may require access to the Property to ensure optimal functioning of the Cottage. Guests must allow service personnel access for repairs, and maintenance. Guests will be notified prior to arrival. * Maintaining Safety Standards: Guests are prohibited from moving Safety Signs and Equipment in order to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone. (e.g. fire pit bucket, etc.). * Going on a frozen lake is NOT recommended. * Be aware property is very close to open lake water with no fence. Guest access - No access to locked interior balcony in Great Room - Please use the main dock only (not the one with a tin boat by the shed)
