Living on the sea

A special experience in a special place. Who has not dreamed of living and staying on a sailing yacht, falling asleep to the rhythm of the waves under the stars and having breakfast on the sea at sunrise? On our 11 m Beneteau sailing yacht, you can make this dream come true. The berth is in the beautiful, small marina of Santa Teresa in the far north of Sardinia. The space In the middle of the picturesque, small marina of Santa Teresa, you will find a special kind of accommodation. Equipped with 3 double cabins (so a total of max. Sleeps 6), a bathroom with shower, a salon, a fully equipped small kitchen with fridge, gas stove and oven and a beautiful outdoor cockpit (sea view included, with clear visibility all the way to Corsica), nothing to be desired in this accommodation. The location is absolutely unique. In 10 minutes you can walk to the city, in about 20 minutes the historic center of Santa Teresa. The beautiful small town marks the northernmost point of Sardinia. It was founded in 1808 by King Victor Emmanuel I, who named it after his wife, Maria Teresa. However, due to the natural harbor bay of Porto di Longonsardo, the place had been of economic importance for a long time before that: Even the Romans transported granite from the surrounding quarries to the Italian mainland. Tucked away in the narrow streets are many cozy restaurants, pizzerias, bars, small cafes, and plenty of shopping options. Here you can end the day with an ice cream on Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. Also worth mentioning is the beautiful, white city beach "Rena Bianca," which is also only about a 20-minute walk from the property. The beach has had the "European Blue Flag" seal of approval since 1987, making it one of the cleanest beaches in Sardinia, and it is particularly suitable for children, as the beach slopes very gently into the turquoise water. Also right in the well-maintained harbor, in addition to restaurants, bars and shops, there is a wellness center with a pool. On request, we offer our guests day sailing trips. The excursions are optional and are offered by us at an extra cost. If you don't want to book the excursion, the boat stays in the harbor. More information on the sailing excursions can be found below. You can park for free very close to our mooring. Olbia Airport also has a bus service to Santa Teresa. Bed linen, towels and basic kitchen equipment are provided. A large supermarket is within about 10 minutes' walking distance. The property offers the optimal starting point for numerous activities. Numerous beautiful beaches on the west coast can be reached by car in a short time (Rena Majore 10 min., Naracu Nieddu 15 min., Vignola Mare 20 min.) as well as the somewhat busier surf & beach highlights on the east coast (Porto Liscia 20 min., Porto Pollo 25 minutes, Palau 25 minutes, …). Or you can treat yourself to a trip to Corsica; the ferry runs several times a day from Santa Teresa to Bonifacio (trip time: approximately 45 minutes) and back. The nearby "Capo Testa" (10 minutes) with its impressive rock formations offers variety for all nature-loving walkers and hikers. The famous "Costa Smeralda" can be reached by car in about 50 minutes. Other sports activities in and around Santa Teresa include windsurfing, kitesurfing, horseback riding, diving, rock climbing, and canoeing. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ On request, we can offer you day sailing trips at an additional cost. The day trips with our Beneteau-Segelyacht take place by arrangement from about 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please note that sailing trips in the low season (October 1st to June 15th) can only take place on weekends. During the excursion we will anchor in 2 coves where our guests can bathe and snorkel. We have diving masks and snorkels on board and can also provide a SUP surfboard upon request... Various destinations can be reached. Possible are, for example, the southern tip of Corsica, the island of Lavezzi, in the south of Corsica, Rena Majore on the west coast, various bays on the northeast coast or the Maddalena archipelago. We choose the destination together with the guests and based on the wind conditions in order to have an optimal sailing experience and to find the most sheltered anchorages possible. Prices for our sailing trips are available on request. Please note that sailing trips in the low season (October 1st to June 15th) can only take place on weekends. Prices include a skipper, lunch on the boat, snacks, drinks, diesel and, if applicable, entrance tickets (e.g., for the Maddalena Archipelago). As drinks, we offer a welcome drink (with or without alcohol), white wine, beer, water and soft drinks. For lunch there is antipasti, a vegetarian main course and a dessert. For the time before and after lunch we have snacks on board (fruit and salt pastries). In case of bad weather (for example, continuous rain), we offer either a replacement date or a full refund. Guest access The boat is exclusively available to the guest, but purely as accommodation. The boat may not be moved by the guest under sail or under motor. If the guest does not book a sailing trip, the boat will remain in the harbor. Other things to note On board, please only wear shoes with a light/colorless sole or simply walk barefoot. Suitcases with or without wheels are rather unsuitable, we recommend backpacks or travel bags.
