The space Features a comfortable king-sized bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, wardrobe, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, bar fridge, picnic table, BBQ, air-fryer, rice cooker, electric stove top, microwave, kettle, electric fry pan, and toaster as well as a washing machine. While the bungalow provides a comfortable retreat, we encourage you to venture out and experience the rich culture of Aitutaki. If you require pick-up from the airport to the bungalow or a transfer back to the airport, let us know in advance — we’ll provide a link so you can book directly. When booking your flights, please keep in mind that check-in is generally 3.00pm and check-out is 10.00am. Rental Scooters: Please note that scooters are not included with the bungalow. You'll need to arrange your own transport. However, we are happy to recommend several reliable local rental services. On Aitutaki, scooter availability is limited, and bookings may reach full capacity during peak seasons or high-demand periods. We suggest booking transport as early as possible. Other things to note Aitutaki may occasionally experience water and power shortages due to various factors. While Barefoot Bungalow is equipped with a dedicated rainwater tank to mitigate these situations, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of water usage and conserve where possible. Your cooperation in conserving water & power during your stay is greatly appreciated and contributes to the sustainability efforts of our community. Additionally, please remember to turn off lights and air conditioning when you are not at the bungalow to help conserve energy.
