In 1948 they decided to close the school and the property was sold. The main level floors are original hard wood floors. The large deck offers you a breath-taking view of the Pere Marquette River. The space As you enter the school house you will be greeted with an open living space. The living room is cozy and inviting, with comfortable furnishings, a Smart TV, and windows that allow natural light to enter the room. The property features two spacious and well-appointed bedrooms, each offering comfortable and luxurious bedding to ensure a night of peaceful rest. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed, plush linens, the upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed and two twin bunk beds. The kitchen is equipped with all modern amenities, including a stove, refrigerator, and microwave, ready for any culinary experience. The kitchen also features ample storage space for groceries, a breakfast counter, and a coffee maker (drip and k-cup). We furnish your first mornings with complimentary coffee. The backyard of the property is your ultimate relaxation spot with outdoor seating, a gas grill, perfect for barbequing with your loved ones. You can unwind and soak up the sun's warmth while listening to the gentle flow of the Pere Marquette River or just sit and relax while catching up on your favorite book. We offer a private firepit with 4 Adirondack chairs, a large deck with a table and 4 chairs. You will take ten designated steps down to the river. Please be respectful of any no trespassing signs.
