Our house is located in Malinalco (Barrio San Pedro), in the State of México, about 2 hours from Mexico City. The house is a 15 minute walk from the center of town and two blocks from "6 Calles." There are two bedrooms, a 'TV' room and a pool. *the pool is only minimally heated by solar power so from December - February the water is quite cold The house features an open-air living/dining room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, TV (for DVD only--no TV reception) room , an eat-in kitchen (well equipped for serious cooks), and a small lap pool. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. A single person could sleep separately in the TV room. The lot is 1100 m.sq., looking out to spectacular views of the mountains. There is a seasonal herb and vegetable garden. The whole house, garden, pool We will meet guests personally, or the caretakers (who live across the street) will be there. We're on a quiet stone-paved road, with (usually) quiet neighbors. There are a few shops and a taxi stand 3 blocks away. The walk into town is about 15 minutes--a car isn't essential. There is limited direct bus service from Mexico City (2 hours) but frequent service to Chalma which is 10 minutes away by taxi. Buses leave from Terminal Observatorio. 2 night minimum rental
