Welcome to this charming vacation home with a wonderful location on the island Stora Lindön on Kållandsö 1.5 miles outside Lidköping. Fantastic lake views both to the west and east. You come here by boat, which is included in the accommodation. The journey over from the small boat harbor at Djurgårdsudde takes just a few minutes before you arrive in a small paradise. Here you can relax and enjoy the beautiful nature, perfect for having your morning coffee with lovely views of Lake Vänern. A guest house with 2 beds and the cottage with 3 beds. The space This picturesque cottage was built in the early 1900s and has been a rental cottage on Stora Lindön for all the years until 2023 when we bought the island and cottage. We have done a little facelift of the cottage, guest house and plot. A small cottage that has most amenities and the views to the east and west are wonderful. The cottage is not recommended for families with small children or people with health conditions or disabilities as there are steep mountain slopes on both sides of the cottage. The road up to the cabin from the boat dock is steep. Guest access The guest house may only be used when more than 3 guests are booked. Other things to note The cottage is rented out on the condition that the guest can handle a small motorboat! NOTE! The boat is included in the rental, but it is important that you as a guest are used to handling a small motorboat. The boat has an electric start and is equipped with a dead man's grip (a safety function that must be properly connected for the boat to start). We do not offer a walk-through or introduction on site, but this is a rental for those who can already handle a boat. We live on the island ourselves Thursday-Sunday about 200 meters from Lindöstugan. We decline spontaneous visits! If you want to get in touch, please call us!
