Central Stratford - 2 x ensuite and double drive

The house is located in Stratford’s Old Town area close to Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried, a few minutes walk from Stratford centre, the RSC theatres and the river Avon. The house has 2 parking spaces, a rarity in such a central property. It’s a 3 floor town house with 2 en suite double bedrooms, a large comfortable first floor lounge, and a spacious newly fitted dining-kitchen opening out to a sunny west facing decked patio with outdoor seating. Strictly NO smoking Vaping property. The space The property has a newly fitted and well equipped kitchen/dining/conservatory that opens out to the rear, decked patio. This is a sun trap in the afternoon and evening. There is a small ground floor loo. The comfortable first floor lounge gets the morning sun, it has a work space, a large comfy corner sofa and a living flame gas fire for cooler evenings. There are two bedrooms for guests, both with modern en suites showers, M&S cotton bedding on comfy double beds, and drawer/wardrobe space for your clothes etc, one bedroom is on the first floor and one on the second floor. There is underfloor heating throughout the house, with polished wooden floors upstairs. Stratford is full of fantastic places to eat and drink, including some very historic English pubs, including a very good local pub which does great lunches - The Bull - on the next street. The town centre is worth visiting for its wide range of independent shops and historical Shakespeare attractions. And, of course, you won’t want to miss a trip to one of the RSC theatres to see classic Shakespeare live theatre with famous name actors. There is lots to do in Stratford - from river cruises and boat hire on the Avon, to the Butterfly Farm, the weekly Friday farmers market, a food & craft market on Sundays by the Marina, an award winning Christmas market and fair, and an annual Shakespeare festival each April. The Greenway is a path next to Stratford Racecourse, along a former railway line running from Stratford to Long Marston. It's popular with walkers and cyclists and has bikes for hire, as well as 2 cafés in railway carriages along the 5 mile route. We provide some information on local attractions in the house manual, but there is an excellent Tourist Information Centre in Stratford. Guest access This is our home, but you will have sole occupation for your stay ( we will be away) including the double parking spaces and rear courtyard garden. Because it’s a family home and not a show house, it is very comfortable and well equipped. The cupboards and fridge freezer will partially contain our own food stores which are not for guest use, but you are welcome to use tea and coffee facilities as well as store cupboard items and cooking equipment. The third bedroom (on the top floor) and the garage are not available to guests. Check in at 3pm . Please not smoking/vaping is not allowed at all in the property or the courtyard or driveway. Other things to note There is a Ring Doorbell and Ring camera fitted over the driveway. The property including frontage and courtyard garden is No Smoking/no vaping and pets we do not accept smokers we will ask you to confirm none of your party smoke or vape prior to acceptance and that no pets will be brought to the property.
