Stay in a medieval farmhouse

Immerse yourself in a captivating medieval atmosphere in the heart of a carefully renovated 13th century farm, nestled in a seven-hectare green setting. Our cottage and bed and breakfast will offer you a peaceful refuge for a soothing and rejuvenating experience. Stroll through the winding paths and, in season, pick fruit from our orchard, or discover our animals. The space For your solo, couple or family vacation, Orée des Bois offers the rental of a 45 m² cottage that can accommodate up to 5 people. Our guests can spend pleasant moments on the balcony with stunning views of the property and the Livradois Forez mountains. Guests can also relax on the shared terrace opening onto the fully enclosed inner garden. The accommodation includes a double bed and a single bed (on the mezzanine) and a sofa bed (on the ground floor). On the ground floor, you have a small kitchen as well as a table with chairs to eat your meals. Finally, the cottage is equipped with its bathroom (with shower, toilet, sink, towel dryer and storage). Guest access The Gîte has an independent entrance, while being part of the main building of our house. We live on the premises, we are used to welcoming guests in person. Guests can enjoy the few amenities we provide, such as the trampoline, slide, access to the pool (above ground, unheated), as well as access to the animal enclosure (chickens, goats and ducks). Other things to note We gladly accept your pet. We also have a large, friendly dog who is very popular with all guests. However, if your dog has any particular reactions, or is reactive, please let us know in advance, so we can anticipate your arrival for everyone's safety.
