Our self contained Tuscan inspired cottage with loft, sits nestled amongst beautiful informal gardens and is a blending of rural and artistic aesthetic. Delight in the multitude of birdlife that inhabit the garden or simply relax on the verandah with a glass of wine or on those cooler nights curl up in front of the fire. For those artistically inclination there is an opportunity to play with clay down in our fully equiped ceramic studio. The space Wishsong is conveniently located on the Bruxner Hwy, half way between Lismore and Tenterfield, close to the village of Mallanganee. The cottage comprises a queen-size bed, lounge, fireplace and kitchenette whilst the bathroom is situated behind a set of french doors. An upstairs loft area with double bed futon/sofa is primarily for relaxing and simply getting away from it all. Access to the loft is via a steep staircase so is not suitable for those with limited mobility or small children. There is a selection of books and DVD’s. Outside is an undercover car-parking area. There is also access to a gas BBQ and WiFi is accessible in the cottage. Guest access In order to provide guests with total privacy our own retreat is separated from Wishsong by a mixture of garden and sculpture, however, we are never far away should guests require contact. Our chooks provide eggs for your breakfast and guests regularly comment on the deliciousness of the homemade goodies that we provide. Other things to note Guests are free to wander about the gardens. Our ceramic/sculpture studio is available for those wishing to play with clay and learn how to throw on the wheel or hand-build. Workshops and tutorials can also be tailored to suit all abilities.
