Swing on the front porch, smell the roses in the flower beds and let your mind go back in time to the 1930’s & 40’s at our Craftsman style centrally located home on Locust Street near historic downtown Texarkana. Our vintage home is located in a socioeconomically diverse, lot and block, historic neighborhood only minutes away from downtown. I-30, the airport, shopping, golfing, sports facilities, medical facilities and just about any style of restaurant you can desire are only minutes away. The space Our vintage house has all the amenities you need for your stay away from home. It has a one-car carport and its own driveway. The backyard is chain-linked fenced and has a bistro table/chairs under the pecan trees. It features a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a 40” ROKU TV and its own full bathroom with a large shower. There are two other bedrooms with queen size beds and another bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination in the hallway. There are closets in each bedroom. The living room features a fireplace (non-working) with a 58” ROKU TV mounted above. The large sofa, love seat and wing chair allows for a comfortable group gathering. There is also a desk/work area. Go through the original French doors into the dining-room which has a large table that seats 6 to 8. The kitchen, which has a breakfast nook with a small table that seats 4, is fully equipped with all the basics: gas stove, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker and dishwasher. Also available are pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, toaster, mixer, blender, water filter pitcher, and tea kettle. For the coffee lover, there is both a Keurig machine and a drip maker. Coffee and additives are available. Off of the kitchen, the laundry room contains a washer and dryer, including detergent, that are available for use. Reusable wool dryer balls inside the dryer act to counteract static in clothes instead of fabric softener. The house offers: central heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, front door and side door combination locks, 2 hair dryers, iron and board, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, playing cards, books/magazines, puzzles and several games. We want you to feel comfortable and right at home when you stay here. We have tried to supply everything you might need to enjoy your stay, but if there is something in particular needed that isn’t provided, we will be happy to get it for you ASAP as we live close by. This house is only minutes away from historic downtown Texarkana that is shared by two states. While you visit, don’t miss getting your picture taken at the courthouse which is located on the state line.
