The space The Relaxing River Suite is an attached 700 sq ft guest suite that is very safe, nestled between the Main house and Garage. Free concrete driveway parking for multiple cars. (NO garage parking available to guests.) Private entrance. Single story. Two bedrooms, full kitchen, all-in-one style laundry, bathroom with walk-in/sit-down rain shower, modest living and dining area, Central AC/Heat, and a guest portion of the shared back deck. Calming shade in the summer. Gorgeous colorful leaves in the fall. Beautiful white snow in the winter. Wildlife waking up in the spring. Guest access You have access to the whole shaded Back Yard which slopes right down to the Black River. No fences. Sit on the Amish swing and watch the sun rise, or gather around the fire pit and enjoy camp fire stories at night. Observable wildlife includes: Ducks, geese, blue heron, squirrels, deer, ground hogs, fish, crawdads, frogs, fox, woodpeckers, cardinals, occasional bald eagles, and more! (perhaps Sasquatch???) You have access to the guest-portion of the shared back Deck. Enjoy dining outside on the deck with an outdoor table and seating. Guest staircase descends into the back yard. Front covered Porch with sunset view. Front Yard is flat, partially shaded, and great for fun activities like Corn Hole or throwing a football. (Note: Speed limit for traffic is 40 mph. No fences.) Wintertime may bring wonderful snow related activities like snowball fights, sledding, and yes… shoveling. Other things to note LAUNDRY: The Spledide brand All-in-1 Laundry machine cleans AND dries clothes in one cycle. Best used for SMALLER loads, when not in a hurry. If there is a LARGE volume of laundry to be done in a short time, the laundromat is a very good option, only five minutes away. SNOW: Snow fall in the winter makes for magical views of the woods and the river, the contagious mischief of a good snowball fight, the charm of building your own snowman, and even a good rush from sledding. That magic also brings with it the challenges of winter driving and icy sidewalk conditions. ***Please be aware that snow and ice may be a natural hazard of a visit to this area. Thankfully, our location on the west side of Cleveland is considered outside of the severe ‘Snow Belt’ region of the east side of Cleveland. SNOW REMOVAL: If snow falls while we are in town, we will gladly provide snow removal from the driveway and apply ice-melt to the sidewalk for you. *** However, if we happen to be out of town during your stay, you may be required to shovel and apply ice-melt yourself. Shovels and ice-melt will be provided on-site, at both the front door and back door. It may surprise you, but there is actually a wholesome joy that can come with each shovel full of that pure white gift from above. Enjoy it!
