Modernized 1869 home, close to Gettysburg battlefields, wineries, State Parks & the Appalachian Trial. There are 5 rooms individually available to rent that can sleep 2 to 4 guests in twin, queen and king beds with a total of 14 that can be accomodated total in the house. No more than 4 guests in one room. Each room has its own private bathroom. Continental breakfast with one hot entree. Kitchen and common area are shared. Day trips to DC, Baltimore, Hershey, Lancaster and Shenandoah Valley. The space My property is a charming 1869 Farm House that was completly rebuilt. Though the house has the charm of an older home it is completely modernized. Modern electricty, fast WIFI, spring fed water that goes through a 6 point filitration system, including UV lights. Each room has a HEPA Air Filter System. The home is centrally located off route 30, next to 2 state parks and the Appalachian Trail. 10 miles from Chambersburg and Gettysburg, 8 miles to the battlefields. There is 2 acres, the yard has sitting areas to enjoy the flower beds. Guest access The house is a charming 1869 Farm House, that was built where the Newman Tavern had stood during the Civil War. Besides your room and bath you have access to all of the common areas. The kitchen is large and is fully stocked. The dining room has a Kruger with coffee, chocolate, and tea. The living room has a large curved TV and comfortable places to sit. There are 2 acres with places to sit and enjoy the flower beds. There is a comfortable front porch for the guests access. Other things to note The home is easy to access, right off route 30. Only 8 miles to the battlefields in Gettysburg, straight down route 30. It is 10 miles from Chambersburg and Gettysburg centers. It has a HEPA Air Filter in each room. The home has been rebuilt and is very comfortable and has modern admenities. There is an outside outlet that you can plug in an electric car.
