The Forest Edge Getaway

Our guest suite is a 5 min walk through the bush into Witchcliffe town or a 10 min drive to Redgate Beach & Margaret River. With an uninterrupted view of the forest, sit on the deck with a wine or appreciate the treetops from your bed! Witchcliffe is a character filled & quirky town with cafes, cellar doors, a pub, vintage shops, record store, general store, art, pottery, a herbalist, yoga lessons, and of course wineries & the beach all on your doorstep. The space Our brand new home has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including two bedrooms with luxe king-sized beds, TV with Netflix, heaters for winter, a kitchenette, BBQ on the deck, and an ensuite bathroom accessible from both bedrooms. The rooms are under the same roof as our family home but are completely private, with a separate entrance and parking. We’re a young family – Michael, Hannah, and our toddler – living in the adjoining house, and we’re always happy to help if you need anything during your stay. You’re welcome to use our laundry for clothes washing; just let us know and we can arrange access for you. We provide you with all the beach essentials, board games, and more to make your stay extra comfortable. If you’re travelling with a baby, please let us know in advance so we can organise anything you need. Opposite our property is a gorgeous old-growth forest, and right nearby is The Wadandi Track – a stunning 31km trail from Cowaramup to Witchcliffe, taking you through beautiful natural bush, farmland, and vineyards in the Margaret River region. Please check the photos and amenities for what’s included in the kitchenette – fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. There is no oven or stove, but you’re welcome to use the BBQ for cooking. Our kitchenette is designed for light food prep and snacks, similar to a hotel kitchenette, and doesn’t have a separate kitchen sink. Guests can use the bathroom sink for washing up, or just let us know if you need help with a larger clean-up. If you are travelling with your pet, we have a large, fully fenced garden and we provide a pet bed, water & food bowls. Guest access The guests part of the house is separate and only accessible by you. There is a private entrance, hallway, two bedrooms, kitchenette/walk-in robe & bathroom. One of the rooms opens to the decking with sliding doors where you have your own outdoor furniture, outdoor fire & BBQ. Other things to note Due to the nature of the property style, you may hear us & our dog, Penny. We try our best to stay quiet but with a toddler this can be unpredictable at times. If you are bringing your pet, please only do so if they get on well with other dogs. The property is fully fenced in, so you can leave your pet to roam outside when the gate is closed.
