Make some memories at this unique place. The cabin was originally built for my grandfather to live in and was known as “Grandpa’s Cabin” for many years. The rock work in the patio was done by my grandfather. Original wood floors put in by my dad and grandpa. Stella’s Cabin (Stella’s photo hangs above the bed) is minutes from Sierra Valley, Portola Railroad Museum, Graeagle, Frazier Falls, Lakes Basin Area, Sierra Buttes, Sand Pond, Quincy, and Lake Davis. A short 50-minute drive to Reno, NV. The space The cabin is small but has everything you need, including what people call the most comfortable bed ever—everyone loves the cabin which sits just east of Portola. Easy access to bike /walking path along the river into town. A short drive to many of the areas attractions. Guest access When you rent the cabin, it also includes parking in the carport, two large patios, a small deck, and unlimited campfire wood for the fire pit. Other things to note New bedding and towels for 2025 season.
