INKA WASI - Boutique Apartment downtown Cusco

The INKA WASI is located in the famous colonial quarter of San Blas in the historical centre of Cusco. The property is built on Inca terraces, which have been restored and incorporated into the flat: this is the reason why there are 2 Inca walls, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. Perfect place for couples, families (possibility of extra beds, up to 02 extra beds) and business travellers (we offer hi-speed Wi-fi) The space The flat is distributed over two levels via a staircase. The first level has a large living room with sofas that gravitate around a beautiful clay fireplace that stands out against the Inca wall in the background. The kitchen is fully equipped and next to it (separated by a countertop) is a large table, also ideal for work. On the second level are the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has an extra-large bed; a window door and a large window overlook the inner courtyard of the property. In the bedroom is the second Inca wall. The bathroom has a shower. IMPORTANT: Our apartment is located in a quiet pedestrian street IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW that our building is not reachable by car and that is necessary to walk a flight of stairs before getting to the place. We ask to the people that can see this point as a problem to take it into consideration and contact us if they want more information about this aspect. Other things to note ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FIREPLACE: The apartment has a fireplace which is free to use. There are two ways to get firewood: you can buy it yourself in the local markets or we can buy it for you at a cost of 55.00 peruvian soles per load of firewood (including transport), the reservation is made in advance for the purchase of firewood. Firewood is not sold from November to March due to the rainy season. TRANSFERS: if you wish to have a driver waiting for you at the airport to take you directly to our apartment, we have trusted drivers who know our place (service not included in the price). LAUNDRY: Laundry is not allowed in the apartment. A laundry service with pick up and drop off at your apartment is also available (service not included in the price). TRAVEL AGENCY: If you would like any assistance in putting together a personalised itinerary, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our service is also available for the purchase of train & bus tickets. THE COLONIAL QUARTER OF SAN BLAS The San Blas neighbourhood is currently known as the tourist area of Cusco. In contrast to the historic centre that borders it, San Blas is situated on a hill that offers magnificent views of the ancient Inca capital. It is built around a beautiful colonial church, whose famous hand-carved cedar pulpit is considered one of the most important works of carpentry in Peru, if not the entire continent. San Blas is the craftsmen's and artists' quarter, where you can find exhibitions by young talents alongside the big names of the local scene. The area is full of hotels, hostels, restaurants, cafés and pubs, so much so that San Blas has developed its own nightlife. The neighbourhood retains the warmth of its narrow cobbled streets, its houses covered in typical Cusco stone, with their antique gates, Spanish atriums and pretty balconies.
