In a quiet neighbourhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES. The space The space is your own domain, a comfortable place to relax. We have a collection of books to read, with free WiFi and a TV provided with complimentary Netflix. Please note that it does not have a full kitchen, but does include a microwave, outdoor BBQ, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, and a kettle. Dishes are included along with a small basin (under the bathroom sink) for washing them. Our water comes from a deep, drilled well, is UV-sanitized and extensively filtered, and is completely safe to drink. Guest access You have a small deck area at the front, as well as a large grassy area for your use. At the bottom of this area is the path to the beach. (Please note that this path runs over uneven ground with many steps and is not recommended for those with mobility issues.) The building where you will be staying is connected to our main house via the carport and a breezeway. We're close by if you need us, but we will completely respect your privacy! We're unable to have guests bring their pets to the property. Our apologies if this is a problem. Other things to note Please be conscious of a very low ceiling in the loft! Bear in mind that dining options are very limited on Denman. Please prepare accordingly. Contact us through Airbnb if you have any questions. If you have an electric vehicle, there is a charging station at the Denman Island Community Hall (approximately 1 km from our property).
