The neighborhood is not as tipically roman and touristic as Trastevere, but more intimate, reserved, you can still find some old 'osteria' (typical roman restaurant) walking in the direction of the basilica of San Pietro, and some very fournished 'alimentari' shops with typical foods and wines from the region as well as some 'pasticcerie' (pastry shops) were romans use to buy the 'pastarelle' for the sunday family meal.
