You’ll first pass through a mysterious, very long avenue of century-old linden trees to discover this historic site. The de Lardemelle family welcomes you in the grand green salon or in the study with its stained-glass windows. Imperfect but memorable—that was the choice made for the château’s renovation. Not to redo everything, and certainly not to offer a brand-new, gleaming château. To preserve the poetry of these grand family homes from the previous century. To dream by the fireside in winter or on the large terrace on summer evenings. To stroll through the park or the vegetable garden. Our visitors often tell us that here they feel at home. Bedding and towels provided. Breakfast included. Located in a listed historic site, our rooms are unfortunately not accessible to guests with limited mobility (stairs only). Whether it’s lighting the fireplaces and stoves, delivering firewood, serving drinks at the bar, or helping you find your way around the shop selling local produce, please feel free to contact us at any time. Other things to note Château de Bouillancourt offers a unique accommodation experience, combining the grandeur, décor and spaciousness of a bygone era with a sense of understated simplicity in its design. In winter, you’ll drift off to sleep to the crackling sound of wood in the stove, but don’t forget to add a few more logs so you don’t get cold. We light the stoves in your rooms and provide extra wood on request; this service is, of course, included in your booking. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, at the first light of day, which you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying through the period stained-glass windows of the Paul de Boiville room (also included in every booking).
