Description

Elora's Cabin is a remote luxury cabin tucked away amongst the bluffs and trees on the banks of the Sipsey River. Direct access to the river allows you to head north and explore deep into Bankhead Forrest or head south to Smith Lake. Backed up to a rock bluff with a natural spring, there is a seating area with a firepit that provides a serene escape to nature or use the deck for cooking and river views. It's designed to allow you to fully experience nature, while also having comforts of home! The space King Bed Large Tub Large Shower Outdoor Shower (Seasonal) Refrigerator Two Eye Cooktop Microwave Keurig Electric Grill Washer/Dryer Outdoor Dining Table Outdoor Lounge Chairs Outdoor TV Kayak Launch Kayak Lift Smart TV Firepit Basic Kitchen Utensils Guest access Guests are free to use the whole area around the treehouse. It is the only structure on the property. Other things to note The 1/2 mile of road and drive getting to the cabin are gravel. Lower cars might scrub in places. The concrete driveway down to the cabin is VERY STEEP, but it makes a loop, so no need to turn around at the bottom. There are a few restaurants and gas stations within 15-20 minutes of the property, as well as a grocery store. There is also a winery tasting room that is open on weekends that is within a 15 minute drive. Most hikes in Bankhead are within a 15-30 minute drive. There is a boat launch within 10 minutes of the property. It is 5 miles down stream from the cabin. The lake level does vary due to power generation. The water level is much lower in the winter months and color can vary depending on local rain fall. The dock might be out of the water in early spring due to rising water levels. Since it is tucked away in the trees, mosquitoes and other insects will more than likely be encountered during your stay. **Adults Only **No Pets Allowed **Must be 25 years of age to book **No smoking or vaping allowed inside
