Home in Achnacloich

A comfortable cottage located near the sea in the Sleat peninsula, the "garden of Skye". Situated in a peaceful location, just a short stroll from the beautiful Achacloich beach, with sea views over to Rum, Canna and the Cuillin. The cottage is all on one level with three bedrooms sleeping 6 people. A wonderful place to explore nature and have a restful holiday. The space The 3 bedroom cottage is accessed directly from the driveway through the gate to the side door where there are 3 steps (with handrail). Once inside the house is all on one level. There is a spacious fully equipped kitchen diner with window to the front and patio doors to the rear. The living room is L shaped with windows to the front and rear and has two large reclining sofas, coffee table, TV and wood burning stove. The house has central heating throughout set at 20 degrees for your comfort. The thermostat is located in the main hall which also allows access to the front sun porch and the three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en suite). The bedrooms are king, double and twin beds respectively and there is ample storage available for clothes etc. Each bedroom is fitted with blackout blinds. Each bathroom has bath, wash hand basin and WC. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath and the en-suite has a separate shower, with shampoo and body wash provided. The sun porch is a restful space where you can enjoy the sun (when shining) from morning till evening. The front door leads out from the sun porch into the fully enclosed garden where there is a 3 seater bench and also a wooden dining table with 6 chairs at the front. The back garden is on a slope with a path and steps leading up to an elevated woodland decking area with table and 6 chairs. It offers superb views over the sea to Rum and Canna. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and gardens with the exception of the boiler room cupboard, one cupboard in the kitchen and the garage.
