The Pond House

The "Maison de l'Etang" is a family house, facing the pond of Boussons, in the village of St Didier sur Arroux. 3.5 hours' drive from the center of Paris and a little over 2 hours from Lyon. You will be in the countryside in the heart of Burgundy and close to the city of Autun. Close to the Morvan Natural Park and close to the vineyards of the Wine Route. Access to Montchanin TGV station is a 40-minute drive, the A6 highway to Chalon, an hour away. The space The Bernardin family, the owners, renovated and adapted this house last winter for the hospitality and comfort of their guests, and their satisfaction. The family house is built on 2 levels, the first floor served by a staircase accessible from the entrance of the house. A large living room and lounge, will accommodate your family reunions, or your stays with friends. The 3 double bedrooms upstairs, and the one on the ground floor, will ensure a stay in great comfort. The kitchen has direct access to the terrace, and another to the dining room. Guest access The entire house is open to guests, except for a few cupboards, and part of the basement reserved for the personal belongings of the owners. You can enjoy the large sheltered terrace, the one in the basement hosting the barbecue, and of course all the useful rooms in your accommodation. Other things to note The cleaning is done by professionals, we just ask you to return the house in a correct condition, with the dishwasher empty and dishes tidy. The hours paid to our professionals correspond to normal work, which is the one usually observed. In the event of a mess, or unusually dirty condition, an additional fee may be requested.
