Description
Stay on a historic property established by an area pioneer circa 1850. This guest suite is conveniently located between Lake Champlain and the High Peaks Wilderness. With only 6 miles to the Northway and 2 miles to the heart of Elizabethtown, it's easy to get to where you want to be! You will enjoy the comfortable size of the space set in the back of a family home with your own private access. The space You will find the guest room to be spacious with plenty of room for luggage, gear, or even to welcome a baby and travel crib. Our goal is to provide a clean and cozy room, a space to rest and recharge for your next adventure in the Adirondacks. This is a smoke free property. Smoking is prohibited inside and outside. Guest access The Guest Suite has its own exterior door and keypad, making coming and going very easy. You will have access to your suite, which includes a bedroom, private bathroom, in-room laundry, mini-fridge/freezer, and electric kettle with a variety of hot drink options provided. If you are looking to sit down and eat, feel free to use our picnic table just outside your door. Parking: guests can find ample parking in the grass, to the left of driveway. Guests should NOT use the grill or access any sheds or garage. Guest suite closets are not available for guest usage at this time. Other things to note If you stay on a Saturday, our wonderful Amish neighbors have a farm stand around the corner. They sell a variety of goods from fresh produce/eggs to lots of delicious baked goods and treats (bread, pie, donuts, cookies, etc). You never know when you'll get a glimpse of an Amish wagon passing by Steele Woods.
