Our guest house is located in the old shopping street called Karahori, just 15 mins walk from downtown. Built on top of an ancient fortification of Osaka castle, it is full of local, small businesses. Our craft beer bar has largely local customers who enjoy a chat. If you are looking to avoid the busy tourist traps and party areas, Karahori is a great choice to experience local life. Other things to note Thank you very much in advance for following our guesthouse rules below; ①The entrance door will lock automatically outside business hours. Make sure the door is locked. If it does not lock, hold the door closed and push the lock button again or turn the knob manually. ②Do not drink or touch any of the food or alchohol in the bar. We will not be able to be serve it to customers and you will be charged the full price. ③The bar area is not a common room. We have limited seating and it is only available during business hours for people ordering food or drinks. ④The area behind the bar, as well as the basement are off limits. The alarm will go off if someone enters outside of business hours. ⑤Smoking is allowed outside only. There is an ashtray under the bench outside. ⑥This is a residential area. Please respect our neighbours by keeping quiet outside and following garbage etiquette. If you have any question, feel free to contact us anytime. Drink last order is 10:30pm and we close at 11pm. *The building is over 150 years old and depending on the number of customers, the noise from downstairs is pretty noticeable.
