Summer House by Kilefjorden

A beautiful family-friendly little Summer House located by Kilefjorden offers a place to relax, go fishing, swim, hike, and enjoy nature and activities nearby. The Summer house is located at Bornes Camping in Hægeland and has everything you need to have an enjoyable relaxing stay. Two bikes are available to use as well as borrowing a canoe, a row boat or fishing pole. Enjoy the sun and the view all day at the two decks. Close to activities, Go Kart, Mineral Park, Beaches, Rafting and more The space This Cozy Summer House has great WiFi for our guests as well as TV channels and a Chrome-cast to use at either of the TVs in the family room and sun room. Full Kitchen with an oven,fridge, microwave and air-fryer, Electricity and running water. Water is on and available in the season from about May until mid September, beginning of October. After that you would have to shower in the facilities for a token that cost 20.-NOK. And Water is available to pick up in the communal kitchen. The water in the house is not for drinking but there is a place to go pick up drinking water at the campground. There will also be some jugs with drinking water in the fridge for when you check in. Dining room, 2 bedrooms and a sleeper couch in the Family room. The one bedroom has a 140 cm double bed and the other has a bunk bed with a 120 cm double bed and a full size bed. The sleeper couch is from IKEA and sleeps 2. The Cozy Sun room can be enjoyed summer days and nights. On the cooler nights there is a gas oven that will heat up the room very quickly. That oven can be moved into the house as well if needed. There are games, books, two bikes and a fishing pole available to borrow. The water heater is small so it's a good idea to account for that when taking showers. It should only take about 30 minutes or so for it to be ready with more warm water. The Porta Potty works great but please only use for peeing as it it easier to clean. The Camping ground has facilities with flushing toilets and showers as well. There is also a washer and a dryer that can be used for 40,- NOK pr wash. If you use the shower in the facility you can buy tokens for that for 20,- NOK Bornes Camping has a little playground for the little ones. Guests can borrow canoes and rowing boats for free in the reception. You go there to pick up the paddles and life jackets. Bornes Camping has a communal kitchen with cooking facilities, washing facilities and space to clean fish. There is also a kiosk at the campground that sells various items such as: snacks, ice cream, soft drinks, hygiene products and other small items. In addition, they have a menu with various hot dishes. There are tables and chairs inside the common room and outside. Its a cozy environment at the campground and you have a beautiful view of Kilefjorden from the deck on the water. There is beautiful nature around the area that is inviting for hiking. walks and biking. We are also close to activities like The Mineral Park - 13 minutes The Climbing Park- 13 minutes Troll Aktiv, rafting and other outdoor activities. - 23 minutes Go Kart - 12 minutes Evje centre with stores and restaurants.- 18 minutes Kristiansand Zoo and amusementpark. -50 minutes Nearest Grocery store- SPAR- 5 minutes Thai Food Restaurant with Buffets on Sundays- 2 minutes It’s a great location for people wanting to be in nature and also be close to fun activities. Other things to note Pets We have chosen to allow pets but we do have allergies in the family so we appreciate the guests with pets keeping it clean and not allow pets in the bedrooms or on the couches. There is also a small pet fee of 250,-NOK for bringing pets. Thank you for your understanding and for keeping it clean:) We have pillows, comforters, and blankets available. Bed linens are available for rent if wanted for 100,- NOK pr person and include a big and a small towel:) For weekly rentals, linen and towels are included.
